dc.descriptionIn this paper the mathematical modeling and the 3D simulation of a pneumatic levitator are presented. The forces generated by the system are explained, the characteristics of a real levitator are calculated through experiments and finally the result of the modeling system is verified by the simulator. The simulation results have led to the conclusion that this model behaves within the common parameters for this type of processes according to the fluids mechanics theory and the behavior of the real process created according to the design.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presenta la modelación matemática y la simulación en un ambiente 3D de un levitador neumático. Se plantean las fuerzas que intervienen en el sistema, se calculan experimentalmente las características propias de un levitador real y, finalmente, se comprueba en el simulador la respuesta del sistema modelado. Con la simulación del sistema obtenido se llegó a la conclusión de que el modelo presenta un comportamiento dentro de parámetros normales para este tipo de proceso según la teoría de la mecánica de fluidos y el comportamiento del proceso real construido según diseño.es-ES
